Bitter orange trees in Bodrum landscaping:

Bodrum Municipality Parks and Gardens Director, Benian Bilgi, announced that sour orange trees have been planted in Bodrum town centre and along the roadsides in Gündogan in 2007. The sour orange is native to China or northern India, but around the third century AD was introduced to the Mediterranean region by the Arabs.
